The Latah Trail Foundation helped in acquiring 8.4 miles of new Latah County public trail, which extends the current Latah Trail between Troy and Moscow.The new property includes some, but not all, of the old rail bed southeast of Troy down Bear Creek Canyon toward Kendrick.Our first priority, together with Latah County, is to make safety improvements in order to open the first 4.8 miles of new trail southeast of Troy.Our fundraising goal for the next year is $125,000.Any funds you are able to donate would help us reach our goal to open the first 4.8 miles of trail in 2010.
